SUPREMACY: MINIMALISM

A future scenario – a young woman’s world in 50 years. The year 2K67 is dominated by an idealized world of Minimalism. By law, all humans must not bind themselves to material things but to appreciate values, deeds, feelings and the environment. They should shed all unnecessary things. Through this restriction, peoples are forced to think sustainably about their investments. The focus is the individual as a unique thing, which completely relates to its wellbeing. Genders are seen as one unit and not differentiated by clothing.

LILLI AIKO ARTIKSON

is single and works as an art director for an online architecture and interior design magazine. She is very interested in art, fashion, design, as well as nature. In her job, the goal is to connect design with nature. In her free time, she does a lot of sport, also in nature. She only owns things she really needs. Her wardrobe is limited to a minimum. She is part of a group of fashionable individualists – she stands out through the creative interlacing of single elements. This fashion is characterized by wide, flowing and oversized cuts, with masculine and feminine elements coming together in the clothing to unite both in fashion that is wearable by both genders. Unisex fashion and a sporty look are in focus. Geometric forms and patterns again indicate unity and clarity. Details become important and clothing becomes valuable in it’s silhouette and cut.
